Welcome to Savarkar IAS Study Circle. This is the POWER page to guide you on the way to knowledge. This POWER page is helpful for students who are preparing for competitive examinations. This page guides you towards the lecture sequence to study and exam practice with an analysis of the exam.
The pattern of Study: Here links of videos are posted. Please click on the name of the video lecture in the given list below and observe the entire lecture for free from our YouTube Channel. You have to prepare your first set of notes while observing the video. Keep some blank space to add more information about the topic that you are going to add afterward. Add extra information about the topic from reference books. Some of the reference books are mentioned in the lectures. Some videos contain exams in the video itself. Try to solve that and get answers in that video only. For Some topics, more than one videos are posted. You can go through the same as revision. After the set of videos, you have to evaluate yourself with an Exam video and analysis of that exam. Proceed with reference books / Newspapers for more knowledge.
Video lectures are divided into Two sets. The first one is a preparatory course. That is to give you an introduction to the topics. The second is the main course to give somewhat more knowledge. First, complete the preparatory course and then proceed to the main course.
Before starting the course, it is essential to have knowledge about some competitive exams. Therefore let's start with an information series about these examinations. (Please click on t.he name to open the video.)
3. National Defence Academy, (Entrance examinations).
Course 1: Preparatory course.
1. History: The history section is divided into Ancient, medieval, and modern history. Indian National freedom struggle is considered separately. In the preparatory course, we are going to discuss the Pre-historic and Ancient periods.

Test 1: Evaluate yourself with this small test. Just 25 questions. Difficulty level high. This is because, if you are preparing initially with harder tests then the level of preparation will remain high automatically.
Each question carries 2 marks. The correct answer is awarded “+2” marks. Wrong answer “-2” marks. Un-Attempted questions zero marks.
Your Score = [(Number of correct answers – Number of wrong answers)x2] Your target is 20/50 marks minimum.
